Our founder, Dr. Craig Horne, spent over two decades in cybersecurity, including hands-on leadership roles in defence, consulting, and academia. During his time at KPMG, Craig worked with some of Australia's largest organisations and saw the immense effort required to perform even a single data security audit. Weeks of stakeholder interviews. Endless document reviews. Complex spreadsheets. Despite the time and cost, insights were often out of date before they could be actioned.

This experience reinforced what Craig had uncovered in his PhD research: that securing data must be strategic, proactive, and deeply integrated into organisational governance—not just a compliance checkbox.
